Has been such a long time since I did my last DIY post, that’s because I’ve been working so much and bla blabla but I simply had to share this DIY with you.
I am a big galaxy fan, from clothes to everything-galaxy so I could not resist this DIY!
It is a great DIY for people recycling their wardrobes cause it gives a completely different look to you old pal!
What you need:
- White, pink and blue Sparkly Fabric Dye (the brand on mine is DECO and I bought it on the craft shop inside Jervis Centre – Dublin)
- White or black pair of simple shoes
- Paint Brush
- Newspapers (to cover the floor)
The receipe:
1 – Take off the laces of your shoes… you don’t want them to get all dirty!
2 - Cover the area you are going to use for the DIY with newspaper
3 – Poor a smal bit of each dye on the newspaper
4 – Using the brush start painting the galaxy … tap the brush for a better effect
5- To get different colors mix the blue and pink (purple) and to get lighter tones mix the white with any color.
The start will probably look ridiculous but don’t give up until the end of the process, it only started looking good for me when it was almost done!
