This window display located in France in a luxury Ballet Costume Shop  called Repetto (the same shop as L’oseau Bleu) and it tells the story of the act called Don Quichotte.

Again the dresses are positioned to give us the impression that they act by themselves. The windmills compose the background and bring us the idea of  a old-fashioned town.

The man in the horse is possibly the representation of Don Quichotte.

My obsession with windows is part of my job, I love crafting and planning the perfect window so as soon as I saw this window I was only breathless.

It impressed me not only on the majesty of the wings but also the simplicity of the whole window that complement the idea of the “flying-dress” .

The structured wings have feathers that match the dress so it looks harmonic together, as if they were the same garment.

The lights on the floor make the window look like a stage, almost like if the dress was performing by itself. The background is simple and reminds me a curtain bringing again the stage idea.
